How closely tuned-in are former players like Steve Anderson, Tony Coaxum, Mike Gann & Taylor Justice with Army football and what do they think of all that's happening at West Point these days?

With a few prospects already leaning towards Army, there is still plenty more outstanding targets that the Black Knights hope to pull in out of the state of Florida.
Dang, I thought we had him for sure. In his recent GBK article, he proclaimed that we were his leader. Although in today’s EagleAction commit article, he shared that his top three were us, Northwestern and of course BC.

First post, I plan on being a very active and productive member on this forum. I'm posting this thread to hopefully acquire more Army West Point football gear to my collection. I've been in the market for Army's game day uniforms against Navy for the past several years. I have several helmets and uniforms, but the hardest gear to find is the under shirts or compression shirts. I've been especially on the lookout for the Black Knight's 2012 Nike Pro Combat "Battle of the Bulge" edition compression shirt ($200.00 offer). If you do have the item or any items that you wish to sell such as hoodie's or any athletic apparel from the 2012 season, please email me and I'll be willing to pay a substanicial but reasonable price (paypal). Thank you.
To be honest, I still have not decided how we are going to handle the camps’ coverage for tomorrow (6/6).
The biggest challenge comes down to 2-3 things. First & foremost is today is my 33rd wedding anniversary and unbeknownst to me until this morning, there are family plans that exist … so if I want to make it to 34, I must comply. Hence, I am out of the loop.
Secondly, our other team members are currently away of “vacation”, so we may do some of the coverage remotely.
And finally, the depth of talent on the 6th versus the 27th will be somewhat different. The root to that difference is that tomorrow is a huge academic [SAT] day for many of the prospects who might have showed up otherwise.
We had a similar situation last year, although both session were insightful and don’t get me wrong, there will some talent up there tomorrow.
No matter what we decide to do, we will bring you coverage and updates from Saturday’s camp.
Upcoming this morning: Stay tuned for our article/interview with Head Coach Jeff Monken. The coach addresses Saturday’s football camp, the first of two. As you know, GBK just started our new series titled “Location Army West Point” (Click Here) and the first state that we covered was Florida. Monken adds some insight to the subject by sharing where some of the other recruiting efforts are taking place and much more.
2015 Army commit, RJ Trimble-Edwards at last summer’s camp.
Speaking of Saturday’s camp, there will be tons of prospects on hand including recent Army commit and QB, Tony Brown.
“I’ll be there and maybe I can earn another Rivals star {laughing},” shared Brown on Wednesday, who indicated that he will not just be there as an observer. “I will be participating and it will be fun ... I’m looking forward to it.”
Following our upcoming article/interview with Monken, GoBlackKnights.com will provide you with the most in-depth look you'll find at who's expected at camp on Saturday.
We will be sharing with you some of the “bigger” names who will be attending Army's first camp of the summer. This will not be all-inclusive and we believe there's a reason for that -- wanting to keep some guys under the radar, perhaps. But we will share with the names that sources have deemed especially noteworthy.
Todd Spencer is as good a O-Line Coach as there is in College Football and he is an option scheme O-Line Master with experience at Navy, GT and Army....a real motivator and the players loved him!
I don't think the OC Brad Davis, alone, with the help of Bodine, can do it all. The OC is also the running game coordinator in the option....
GBK continues our series on 2015 Breakout Players on the offense. Now we look at the position that always generates the most interest and controversy: Quarterback (Click Here)
Anyone have the scoop on why the men's Rugby Sevens did not get in the tourney this year? Both Navy and AF, which are club teams, made it. Ours, a varsity team this year, did not. Just a few years back we were competing for the National Title.
