I know under Coach Monken it is somewhat limited, but through the years we have had some outstanding receivers. So I ask, who has been the best WR that you have actually SEEN wearing the Black & Gold of Army?

GBK Spring 2023 Thread!

We have posted several articles surrounding spring football and even several pre-spring practice articles and interviews.

Although it is early in the spring session, progress is being made on both sides of the ball and although our articles and video interviews will continue, from time to time we will utilize this thread to share brief comments/observations.

As always, we welcome your comment, feedback and thoughts.

So let's get started ...

Defensively and with three practices under their belt, the 'D' has focused on the fundamentals of tackling, getting off blocks and pursuit angles in our individual segments. They went against the offense in Skelly, which is passing without linemen. They also competed against the offense in 11 on 11 drills with no tackling.

By the way, Crummie and Lowin stood out for so far.

The Inside Stuff GBK Army Post-Spring Practice (4/17) video interview with OLB Jimmy Ciarlo

As always, GBK's Joe Iacono brings Army fans inside the huddle with his one-on-one interviews. This time it is senior linebacker, Jimmy Ciarlo.

He is the starter at Apache. There are three others at the position that are competing with him, but it's Jimmy's position and not even close. If you ask the staff, they will tell you that he's a strong leader for 'D' and the program overall and has performed well this spring.
