The Men's basketball team turned in an abslolutely unforgetable effort in coming back from a 25-point deficit with barely twelve minutes left in the second half to beat Navy by three points on Saturday. It would have been an unbelievable game regardless of the opponent, but this was a Navy team that no doubt had chalked this one up in their win column.
Navy....our greatest rival for a host of reasons. Whether it be football, lacrosse, basketball or whatever sport, it is a big deal to send them packing and knowing they have to suffer the next twelve months remembering that feeling of defeat at the hands of the Cadets from the Hudson highlands.
Proud of the basketball team. Proud of the never say quit West Point attitude. The Long Gray Line has much to be proud of. Army sang second once again. Go Army, always beat Navy !
