Army plays host to Wake Forest in the 4th straight competition against these two teams who share the same team colors. This will be the 2nd time in 4-years that the Demon Deacons have played at Michie Stadium.

The entire secondary is a mess right now and Jenkins would have made a huge difference back there. Even Carnegie look bad today.

Against Fordham our defense gave up 445 total yards in game #1 and on Saturday against UConn, the “D” gave up 415 yards.

I think we have done an outstanding job recruiting at the CB, OLB, DE and safety positions. Actually, the best I have seen in one class. But and I mean but. We are not making the same strides at DT/NG.

GBK, are there any true DT prospects in the recruiting pipeline? I just want remain optimistic, but I am not seeing any results.

Drove up from Texas to see my son and the prep team play. They won 54-0. Very impressed with the athleticism and toughness on this team. Speed and size at almost every position.

I understand this does not help the Black Knights this year, but Coach Monken is getting good recruits and it will pay off.

Honestly speaking and I guess that I have been in denial, but this year and next are still rebuilding years and I am convince (at least my wife says this) that I need to be patient.

We are getting the recruits and I really think that Bradshaw is our QB for the next 3-4 years. I like what I have seen in Asberry, a full year of S&C for the likes of players like Brinson and our other young LBs like Davidson, Holt and Macek.

I think our young FBs in Harris and Woolfolk will be better than what we are currently seeing from Giachinta and Kemper.

I spoke on another thread about Monken, being able to be apart of the R-Day experience. I think it will send off a different mentality for our recruits. For the fact that the coaches are the ones, sitting on their couch asking them to come to this school... Let them get a few minutes of explaining their part in this and what the expectations are as WP ball players... As we know on R-Day it's all military stuff, like football is almost a none factor... I remember it being such a shock to the system, almost changed the mind of my family member day 1.... However does it have to be that intense, it wasn't when they was being recruited (military) staff wasn't there. Ijs can we all be in it together... It will make a difference...

Rivals 2-star safety Devarius Cortner has been a Navy commit since June, the the prospect out of Tennessee reached out to us yesterday to say that he continues to hear from Army and that strong interest is mutual.

Our defense is just not on par with being able to slow let alone shut down anyone on our schedule. We are so weak at NT and our defensive speed and athletic ability is lacking. Losing Jenkins was a hit and we don’t have any defensive swagger whatsoever.
