Another sad day as an NFL great passes away

As many projected, this would be a close game and that’s exactly what it came down to. But the Black Knights came up short against the Mountaineers of West Virginia, 24-21 despite the Black Knights having several key players missing in action due to COVID-19.



We (GoBlackKnights.com) will have our post game coverage, but as always, we would like to hear from you, the Army fans surrounding this Liberty Bowl contest.

Hearty congrats and another loud thank you to the entire Army team, but especially these two who are the epitome of perseverance and desire. They both endured devastating injuries multiple times but pressed on and continued to push themselves such that they could contribute to the team, and boy did they! As best l can calculate they played their final 3 games as 2LTs..in a bizarre year of college football that has to be a first..in the past occassionally a new LT played in a bowl game..but never 3! Anyway, they both made their last year their best year and by all reports their leadership of the team was as valuable as their exceptional play on the field..

Who do you have in these two contests?

For me, I don't even feel that ND should be there, but they are and hope that Bama rocks them. And the second game will be close and for me, it's a pick'em.

I understand the transfer need for the “student-athletes” but it appears that the primary emphasis is solely on the sport itself versus the academics or anything else a college can offer. IMO, college athletics, especially football and basketball are masked as the minor leagues to the NFL & NBA.

#IRS and the Treasury Department began a second round of Economic Impact Payments to millions of Americans. There is no action required by eligible individuals to receive this new payment. Initial direct deposit payments have started arriving for some and continue into next week for many. Paper checks have started being mailed starting today and continue into January.
Some people may see the direct deposit payments as pending before the official payment date of Jan. 4, 2021. Please keep in mind that the payments are automatic, and you don’t need to contact your financial institution or the IRS with payment timing questions.

Most recipients will receive payments by direct deposit. People who got the first payments via Direct Express will receive this second payment the same way. For anyone who receives payments by check or debit card, these will be mailed through January. Carefully check your mail. Eligible individuals who didn’t receive an Economic Impact Payment this year – either the first or the second payment -- will be able to claim it when they file their 2020 taxes in 2021. You can check the status of your payments in a few days by using the Get My Payment tool, available in English and Spanish on IRS.gov.
