UAB is not alone in this situation. Running major college athletic programs is tough. Some wonder why we play at Yankee Stadium, well it is clearly tied into our P&L.

SEC schools not named Alabama or Auburn will feast over their roster. I'm assuming that all players will be able to transfer without having to sit out a season.

Yes, per NCAA rules regarding what happens when a school stops sponsoring a sport, they'll be able to transfer without sitting out.

I doubt that more than 5 of them will end up on the rosters of top-half SEC teams. Maybe 5 others end up on lower-half SEC rosters.
