Tough draw to have to play Syracuse at home, especially being seeded below Albany, who they beat head-to-head, 65-62. Granted playing Florida would likely be as big a challenge, but at least it wouldn't be facing a Power 5 conference school on its home court. I get that it's all a matter of RPI, but at a glance, its hard to understand why Albany's America East schedule outweighs Army's Patriot League schedule, as well as losing to Army head-to-head. I suppose Army would have been better served if Loyola had not upset Bucknell in the league tournament semifinals. A win over Bucknell in the finals rather than Loyola might have bumped Army over Albany.
