Quarantine protocol following a positive COVID-19 test within Army's Tier 1 team cohort has upended Army's schedule for two weekends in a row. Last weekends two games against Colgate were postponed, as were the two games this weekend against Holy Cross.

Tier 1 is designated as athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical staff, equipment staff and team officials.

It's too bad because this interrupts what has been a better than projected season for Army with the team achieving a 9-4 overall record and going 5-3 in league play.

I haven't seen any info on the Army athletics website nor the Patriot League website indicating the plan for when the games will be rescheduled. The Patriot League has been hit hard by Tier 1 positives across the league postponing numerous games so rescheduling will be a challenge.

In the misery loves company department, Navy's three games for this weekend against American have also been postponed (one of those games was already a make-up for a previous cancellation). Navy's games the following weekend (13-14 Feb) have also already been announced as postponed.
