UNCASVILLE, CONN. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and Gazelle Group have announced the complete schedule of matchups for the season-opening event known as "Bubbleville." The Army West Point men's basketball team will face Central Connecticut on Fri. Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. and Buffalo on Sat. Nov. 28 at 3 p.m. at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
Bubbleville will house several events relocated and reimagined due to COVID-19 and provides a controlled environment with teams and event staff adhering to tribal, government, and NCAA health and safety protocols and testing requirements. All games will be played without fans in attendance. The matchups will be streamed on FloHoops.
The event will feature 45 games in 11 days, showcasing 40 NCAA Division I men's and women's teams. The schedule is subject to change.
Army opened its 2020-21 campaign on Wednesday night with a 93-32 victory over Merchant Marine. The win tied the Christl Arena record for the largest margin of victory by an Army team. The Patriot League announced earlier this month that Army and Navy have been granted exceptions to the league's conference-play only rule for the 2020-21 season.
