The Inside Stuff GBK: "Best Non-Army Football Sports Thing I Saw Today Thread!"

Hey Army Fans and GBK Subscribers,

As you know, GBK is always attempting to come up with ideas to ensure that during this offseason, but honestly, all the time ... the 12th Knight message board is active, engaging, and interactive.

That being said and again, here we are in June and one thread that we want to start is called "Best Non-Army Football Sports Thing I Saw Today!".

Needless to say there are so many sports-related topics, so this is not a matter of BEST topic per se, but more so what caught your eye and others can talk about it or add their own Best Non-Army Football Sports Thing I Saw Today.

There are a couple of topics that caught my attention from yesterday’s sports activities, but I am going to allow the fans here to chime in first …

… SO LET’S KICK THIS OFF RIGHT NOW!

Trump Purges Military Academies’ 'Boards of Visitors'

I saw Team Obama speak at graduations to insinuate all the men in SA's were sex abusers waiting to strike. I saw Navy ships crashing into each other despite seeing each other 2 hours away. I saw the cheating scandal that got feathered away. I saw intentional fiasco known as the "Afghanistan Withdrawal" that would cause Biden to be condemned in UK Parliament. I saw AF Academy mandate no saying "Mom and Dad" because it would be "offensive" to others.

But the telling thing (for me) was a USMA promo (below) for a "diversity conference" encouraging the need avoid any sense of commonality and "embrace differences." That was example of basic "divide and conquer" subversion. With all the training the military puts people through I would have thought an understanding of subversion would have been taught. Of course it probably was but the subversion was forced top down with drive from civilian DOD apparatchiks poisoning the well with help from the apple polishers within.

So, today its good to see some sanity coming from the top for a change. Recruiting is headed back and the leveraged out people (vaccines etc) can get back in. So maybe the subversion was worth is all in a way. A reminder to people that not everyone in a uniform is a work of art. I expect more investigations and purges will follow.

"WASHINGTON — President Trump announced Monday he would be dismissing members of the Boards of Visitors of four service academies to combat “woke leftist ideologues.”

“Our Service Academies have been infiltrated by Woke Leftist Ideologues over the last four years. I have ordered the immediate dismissal of the Board of Visitors for the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard,” Trump, 78, wrote on Truth Social.

“We will have the strongest Military in History, and that begins by appointing new individuals to these Boards. We must make the Military Academies GREAT AGAIN!”

"Subversion (from Latin subvertere 'overthrow') refers to a process by which the values and principles of a system in place are contradicted or reversed in an attempt to transform the established social order and its structures of power, authority, hierarchy, and social norms. Subversion can be described as an attack on the public morale and, "the will to resist intervention are the products of combined political and social or class loyalties which are usually attached to national symbols. Following penetration, and parallel with the forced disintegration of political and social institutions of the state, these tendencies may be detached and transferred to the political or ideological cause of the aggressor".
