I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved coach. Before our game this winter, I heard from a friend at West Point that Maggie was very excited about playing our team. Today I feel that our team and our fans were blessed to have the opportunity to know such a special and talented coach.

My prayers are with all of you at West Point and with the Dixon family.

0n behalf of the Rutgers community to the USMA community, we offer our deepest sympathies. Having seen first hand the competetiveness of her Brother Jamie, we could imagine how Maggie was as well. Jamie is also a gentleman off the court and l'm sure Maggie was just as sweet off the court.

I had barely learned of this amazing young teacher's exploits than she was gone. She is an inspiration not only to her team but to us all. I'm sure I speak for the Commodore faithful when I say Rest in peace Coach Maggie Dixon. Your legacy will live on

gave one of the greatest gifts that one can give -- and that is teaching. Her legacy will live on through the players she has coached and all that knew her. My heart goes out to Maggie's family and friends and encourage you to remember the light that she brought into your lives.

I say "our" because she was a good person who was succeeding at an institution not known for its basketball prowess. She left us way, way too early. God Speed, Maggie.

This wildcat fan just wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences and prayers to Maggie Dixon's family (biological and basketball) during the tremendously difficult time. The world lost a great one today that in only such a short time left a tremendous mark on everyone she met. Maggie won't be forgotten and now she is looking down on us from a much better place.
