The Inside Stuff Official Army-Lehigh Game (8/30) Prediction Thread

Yes, there is a GBK article (GBK: Predicting Army Black Knights' 2024 Campaign) whereby Joe Iacono gives his prediction of the upcoming season, which kicked off on Friday (8/30).

The Black Knights will be home at Michie Stadium, as they host Lehigh to start the 2024 season.

The Ongoing New Vibe Of College Sports, Especially Football

Like it or not, college sports, especially football has changed and continues to change drastically. I'm somewhat old school, so I appreciate the "innocence" of Army football, which of course can and has put the program playing catch up at times. But then again, there are some advantages of having players in your program for the duration.

2024 Recruiting Class (Tight Ends)

I believe that we have the commitment of six tight ends for the 2024 recruiting class. I don't have an idea which is going direct or prep, but let's say 3 are headed to the USMAPS and 3 come in direct. That is plenty of competition for at least one of the direct TEs to push for some playing time, although we have vets coming back, along with the current tight ends at the prep school. I love the competition that should only make us better.

The Inside Stuff Army Football Training Camp Thread

Here's A Brief Update:

Camp is still in its early stages and defensively, the team is chasing experience. However, from our perspective, the ‘D’ made progress from practice one to practice two. The team will be putting on shoulder pads tomorrow so the staff will have a better gauge as to how far they have to go.

Speaking of defense, two frosh are doing well. They are Matt Gemma and Javon Smith.
