Coach Lyles coached at Army for 7 years. Coach Lyles poured the best of himself into every single person he met. He was a mentor, coach, and supporter of 100s of Army Football Players and Cadets. We are all better off from sharing our time at West Point with him. He needs any help people can provide.
Current Status: Coach Lyles has been hospitalized in critical condition at Baylor St. Luke's Hospital since July 12, 2022. The medical staff and other employees have given coach the most extraordinary care available. However, his medical insurance has expired and did not cover a fraction of the costs. A heart transplant is an astronomical cost. Coach Lyles has been through several life-saving procedures thus far. The current life sustaining measures are only temporary. Coach needs a new heart immediately. He needs help in order to receive a heart transplant.

Now that Fall Camp has begun…

What has you the most fired up about the upcoming season?
What are you most curious about finding out coming out of camp?
Any young players any of you have your eyes on?

For me personally, I think we are fine at the QB position. I’m most curious about who fills in at B behind Buchanan and Riley. They are an awesome 1-2 punch but Brent Davis pointed out in his interview with me they need to find 1-2 more guys to be part of the rotation.
Also super curious to see how we backfill Cunningham, Morrison, Smith and Cockrill on D.

Army and Passing/Receiving?

I know that under Monken's triple-option offense, we aren't going to put any fear in opposing defenses with our passing game, although Alston is an outstanding receiver.

With that being said, I hope that Monken and Davis open up the offense a little more. My question to the message board is, who have been some of the outstanding receivers that we have had here in the past 25 years?

My Top Three are Isaiah Alston, Edgar Pole and Aaron Alexander. I am sure that I am missing a couple though.

Yes, we all are Army football fans here, but many of us follow the NFL and even have a favorite team. Add to that, there are several former Army players on NFL rosters, which gives us more incentive to have this thread up.
