Army Football GBK COVER-IT-LIVE GAME DAY THREAD & FAN CHATTER: Army-UAB (10/12)

• GBK Cover-It-Live Opens: Saturday (10/12) @ 11:30am EST (however anyone can chime in at any time prior to and of course during the game)

What I Like Best About This Team...

is their ability to score. Yes, this team is playing all aspects of the game well but throwing up 30, 40 pts every game is what really excites me.
A little history (and age alert). I remember in some lean years that Army just could not score points. So I randomly picked 1982 and 1983. In 22 games here are the points scored:
10, 26, 8, 17, 3, 20, 17, 41 (Columbia),9, 6,7 (1982)
13, 7, 13, 21, 20, 0, 12, 20, 14, 7, 13 (1983)
Not the most compelling football. Enter the wishbone 1n 1984 and Jim Young's rebirth of Army Football.
I guess over the years that tough period has still stuck with me and to see this kind of productive and exciting football now has me as juiced about Army football as I've ever been.

The Inside Stuff Official Army-UAB Game (10/12) Fan Prediction Thread

There is a GBK article (GBK: Predicting Army Black Knights' 2024 Campaign) whereby Joe Iacono has given his prediction of the upcoming season, which kicked off on Friday (8/30).

On Saturday, the Black Knights return home to Michie Stadium as they host UAB after back-to-back road games.

The vibe within the walls of the program, as well as outside of the academy, where fans from various platforms are embracing this outstanding season from Army, where the team currently holds a 5-0 record and they are also knocking on the door of being ranked in the Top 25.

With being said, chime in with your prediction for Saturday's (10/12) upcoming contest.
