Camps and Early Offers-Paying Dividends

I'm really pleased at Coach Moncken's approach to camps and early offers. Our previous coach refused to run camps until his last year, and wouldn't let coaches extend offers until "I've seen senior tape". We know already of players who committed this year from last year's camps. I'm guessing these 2016 early offers will also bear some fruit. Very positive development on the recruiting front. In fact, I like everything this staff is doing in recruiting.

Insightful and right on 2015 road schedule article

We have to at least win 3 of the 5 games on the road in order to have a successful season. UConn will be looking for revenge, but I think we can take them down, as well as Eastern Michigan. Not feeling happy about playing PSU in Happy Valley, so I count this as our first away defeat. Rice will be tough, so that's a toss up and believe it or not, I like our chances against AF.

Army versus Syracuse in Lacrosse

Watched the game on ESPN3. Syracuse looked like the better team but Army acquitted themselves well. As the article notes, Army lost 21 of the 25 face-offs, and it's tough to win when you're giving up the ball that often. Glessener and Johnson looked good. Daily is usually very good in the face-off; so I don't know why Syracuse dominated that aspect of the game.

POLL: Was the Vandy BB Coach Over The Top

Personally speaking, I don't think what the player did was bad at all and how the Vandy coach responded without having any evidence other than what a Tenn assistant coach said makes this for a very bad lesson from the coach who is trying to correct the actions of one his players. And to say "I WILL KILL YOU" is much worse, IMO than the player clapping towards a Tenn. player after Vandy's win.

But that just me. What are your thoughts - Was the Vandy BB Coach Over The Top?

Hmmmm?
