Trump and Vance had a testy exchange with Volodymyr Zelenskyy in front of reporters during their meeting at the White House, in which Trump called the Ukrainian president "disrespectful" and said, "You don't have the cards."

The idea that Zelensky should be “thanking” the United States is ludicrous. If it weren’t for U.S. policy, there would likely have never been a war. Trump and Vance should be apologizing to Zelensky for the U.S. role in bringing the war about.
