Never was a Corp Squad athlete and was never recruited for anything but the local blood drive. But, would like some informed opinions on this one. My theory is that we overestimate the W-L record in a given year and underestimate other factors. For example, would you rather be a cog in the machine that is already built (i.e. Navy/AF) or would you rather be part of building the machine?
Clearly there are a multitude of factors that go into this but wondering if our current 6-5 record provides more recruiting juice that Navy's 8-2 and AF's 7-3 as you may have that oppty to be on the forefront of building something special at WP. Hey, we still have a ways to go to get to that winning consistency but I think JM and staff have a good story to tell.
