Interesting turn of events, but not overly surprising from a number of different angles.

Ellerson’s strength has always been defense and at this stage of his life, I doubt that he wants to take on a head coaching job anywhere. Both at the collegiate and NFL levels, it is a young man’s game right now.
But there is also another surprise name listed ..... Trent Steelman!!
