"Just the normal stuff you see at this time of the year," Navy coach said."Just the normal stuff you see at this time of the year," he said.Navy held three practices in helmets and shorts last week and some players came away with injuries. There were about eight players wearing red jerseys and not participating in practice on Monday - most of the injuries came from running and cutting at full speed - pulled groins, strained hamstrings, sprained ankles and the like." (sounds about like Army).

"Just the normal stuff you see at this time of the year," Navy said. One of the injured players is freshman quarterback Jonah Llanusa, the starter at the Naval Academy Prep School last season. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound product of Choctaw, Oklahoma did not participate in any drills.

"Jarvis Polu, who saw considerable action at defensive end as a freshman, was working at nose guard during Monday's practice. Polu, who entered preseason camp as the starter at left end coming into camp, looks noticeably bigger even though he is listed the same size (6-3, 280) as a year ago. Navy must replace a three-year starter at nose guard with the graduation of standout performer Bernie Sarra. Senior Patrick Forrestal (6-4, 305) entered camp atop the depth chart, but it appears defensive coordinator Dale Pehrson might be considering using Polu there as well. (Army fans will remember Jarvis Polu.) When Polu was playing nose guard, he was flanked by junior Tyler Sayles (6-2, 255) on the left and senior Amos Mason (6-1, 266) on the right."
