An overdue change. Offense had become predictable. No semblance of an organized design for the passing game when needed. Only effective passing was early game surprise passes to slot backs. Never recognized that 5'9" QBs can't see or throw from the pocket over taller pass rush. Wasted solid WRs and TEs. Never adjusted to the rule change that reduced slot back/WR crack back blocks reducing Army outside run game far less effective.
