He was tops for a long time, but there isn't even boxing anymore so I think he's way down the list now. Usain Bolt is up there now. Probably Lebron too.

If you haven't seen it yet you might like "When We Where Kings" - an Oscar winning documentary about fight between George Foreman and Ali. The footage was contested in court for 20 years so it didn't come out until the late 90s. Its my fav sports film.

The basketball guys are like wind assisted sprinters. Nike marketing gives them a huge advantage NBA stand for Nike Basketball Association. Imagine Ali marketing (and his fortune) with today's Nike. I cant even remember an Ali commercial although there had to be a few.
