DE prospect Chase Fambro was the first committed player for Army's 2022 recruiting class, although he had never visited Army West Point.
On September 20th, Chase talked to GBK surrounding that weekend's OV to the academy, and not only was he on board, the visit according to the DE reinforced he pledge to Army West Point.
However, and as recruiting often goes until NSD, Fambro decided to step away from an earlier commitment to Army and now is looking at other options.
“Happened (de-commit) 10/3/21 and I had a talk with my mother and father and we decided that the military route wasn’t for me ... but don’t get it wrong I loved West Point everything about it was great I just felt like I wasn’t ready to make the full commitment," Fambro said in his conversation today with GBK.
