Coach Magarity is demonstrating the importance of continuity in building a program as his women's team has jumped out to a 10-2 record after losing All-American guard Kelsey Minato along with Jean Parker and Aimee Oertner who started every game last year.

Things should only improve now that Dani Failor is back in the lineup to add some additional height. Madison Hovren has become the scoring and rebound leader and Magarity has two of the best guards around in Janae McNeal (8.4 ppg, 4.1 assists, and 30 steals) and Daisjah Morris (4.3 ppg and 27 steals). At 6-4, Lena Hicks already gives him size inside and she has 15 blocked shots to show it. Failor should help in that department when she gets back to form.
