QB Eli Wisdom

We have excellent set of QB commits . This young man really caught my attention . If you a have a few minutes, check out Eli's highlight film . It's very impressive. Was Arkansas player of the year. Can make all the throws , including while running left. Has an excellent set of wheels . Good size at 6' 175 lbs. No doubt he will grow another 10-15 pounds.

Football Recruiting GBK: Army Football - 2023 National Signing Day Central (2/1)

cvadxindxtm67ukbynxt

Perhaps some of the traditional National Signing Day lusters have worn off because of the Early Signing Period. But for the Army Black Knights and the size of the recruiting classes … the February 1st date could be called, ‘Signing Day Part II’.

And yes, there are a few top-tier prospects that haven't made their decisions just yet. Therefore, we anticipate NSD drama, hat ceremonies, commitment videos, and more throughout the day.

So keep it right here on GoBlackKnights.com (aka Army Football NSD Central)

OT: Yesterday was a miserable day for Army athletics

Including 0-4 in star matchups vs Navy:

Men's hoops entered the day on a 3-game win steak and with a future schedule that bodes well for remaining top 4 in the PL so that we host first round game in the tournament, lost to Bucknell (next to last in the PL) - Army trailed for almost the entire game

Women's hoops lost by 10 at home to Bucknell - this was a matchup of teams that are both in the middle of PL standings (Army entered 5-5, Bison were 4-6), but a 10 point loss at home?

Men's and Women's track both absolutely dominated by Navy - final team scores just not even close

Rifle lost to Navy

Gymnastics lost very close to Navy despite highest team score this season

Wrestling dominated by Lehigh - I don't follow wrestling, but I do know that it is not unusual at all for Lehigh to have a good team

Football Recruiting A.M. Allan in the Morning: Notes On Unsigned Notable 2023 Prospects

We are just one day away from National Signing Day and there several unsigned key prospects for the Army Black Knights, that if landed, this could be (on paper), the best recruiting class under head coach Jeff Monken.

Here are a few players that we should learn about their status by the end of the day today or the latest, tomorrow morning:

  • Let’s start with All-American & Rivals 3-Star OL Tyson Ruffins: The talented lineman has slightly fallen off the radar when it comes to connecting with the media to get the latest on his college decision. However, he is high on Army West Point and came away impressed from his OV at the academy just two weekends ago. Hence, it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

  • Then you have two QBs that could turn this class upside down. If Ethan Washington signs, best QB class ever … Not even close. Washington had previously committed, so needless to say, the Army coaching staff is hoping that he signs tomorrow. Add to that

  • QB Hezekiah “Champ” Harris recently was on campus for his OV and the vibe is that Harris will become a Black Knight.

  • Another strong possibility is 3-star RB Will Stallings, who we believe is a solid lean toward the Black Knights.

  • We can not forget about another all-purpose running back and that is Briggs Bartosh. We anticipated Briggs making his decision last night, but that didn’t occur … so perhaps sometime today.
