It was a truly terrible shock to read of Coach Dixon's passing this morning. As an acquaintance of Coach Magarity, it speaks tremendously of the type of person she is for Dave to have such a high regard for her, as I did not have the pleasure of knowing her. The prayers and thoughts of many are with the Army community during this very tough time.

Truly a sad day

My deepest sympathies go out to the Dixon family and to the West Point family from this old Navy Vet and WVU Mountaineer.

This is a terrible tragedy. She will be greatly missed! My prayers go out to her Family,Team, and friends.

Four Former Black Knights Among 100 ...

Hi Rob I just wanted to let you know that I and many Army fans have loved all the work you did in the past with the short Army films you have made. I have been A Army fan since I was a young boy in the late 60's after attending my first game with my father and some of his fellow WW2 Vet. friends. Im glad I found this site as I worte in my first post and hope Army fans that don't know about this or the other site can find there way here.

Looks like Army will have its hands full, fdrawing Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Norfolk, VA. It will be exciting to see how Army can match up in this one. It is going to be a tough game.

Maggie Dixon is on Cold Pizza on ESPN this morning. We will look to have a link up of her interview sometime later today.

No surprise with T.O., but I was somewhat surprised about Johnson. I wouldn't be surprised to see Owens become a Dallas Cowboy.

Yes, there are a few things that we do know.

We know the Lady Vols' tradition of dominance, along with the most celebrated women's college basketball in history in coach Pat Summitt. We also know that many analyst feel that Tennessee is the strongest two-seed in the country and are surprised that they didn't receive a number one seed.

This a tall order for the Army Black Knights women's team.

But as certain as the aforementioned points exist, we also know that the effort & focus that 1st year Head Coach, Maggie Dixon and the Black Knights will bring into Norfolk, Va. for the 1st round game against Tennessee will make all Army fans proud.
