Very sad to hear this tragic news about the loss of Coach Dixon. It seems so unfair to see such a vibrant life snuffed out so unexpectedly at age 28.

I never met Maggie Dixon but knew her only through the medium of television. She seemed like such a vibrant, energetic, deeply caring young woman. I am shocked and so deeply moved by this story that I have been in tears for two days..and I am a 55 year old man!

My sincerest sympathies to Maggie's family, the Army, Pitt and DePaul basketball families. Keep faith in the Lord above that He will pull you all through this tough time.

Maggie will be missed but take the lessons she taught with you always.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved coach. Before our game this winter, I heard from a friend at West Point that Maggie was very excited about playing our team. Today I feel that our team and our fans were blessed to have the opportunity to know such a special and talented coach.

My prayers are with all of you at West Point and with the Dixon family.

0n behalf of the Rutgers community to the USMA community, we offer our deepest sympathies. Having seen first hand the competetiveness of her Brother Jamie, we could imagine how Maggie was as well. Jamie is also a gentleman off the court and l'm sure Maggie was just as sweet off the court.
