The new trend - not tackling in practice

Dartmouth and several other schools do not. I'm not sure whether it is for spring ball as well but at least in the fall Dartmouth has not since 2010 and they were Ivy League co-champs last year. They use mechanical dummies. my brother in law played at Dartmouth and his 2nd grade son has Hudl tapes of him crushing much smaller second graders. That in itself seems crazy but given the fact that at AWP we are mostly tackling guys that dont look like who we tackle on Saturdays and our relative lack of depth - I wonder if there is something to this.....
