The Inside Stuff GBK Spring Blitz: Black Knights take another hit at Fullback

With the strong possibility that sophomore fullback Drue Harris missing the entire 2016 football season, the last thing that this position could endure would be another casualty with its personnel.

Well, things continue to thin out as Spencer Sheff will miss the entire 20016 campaign after suffering an ACL injury at practice on Wednesday.

The sophomore out of Elk Grove (Cali.) had looked really good during the first group of spring practices and Sheff was a potential starter.

Since last year, where he mostly played on special teams ... he has gotten both bigger and stronger, where he is now tipping the scales at 215 pounds.

The key stake holders at the B-back (fullback) position are veteran Aaron Kemper and converted linebacker Andy Davidson. Stay tuned as we will have more on Davidson's progress.

The Inside Stuff GBK Update (4/22)

First and foremost, there is so much unfolding on the recruiting side, that is almost impossible to keep up with, but A.M. Allan is 'Da Man'. That said, look for updates on several quality prospects like Rivals 3-star recruit Isaiah Moore, who will be on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit. Then you have QB Kaleb Fletcher and LB Grant Stuard just to name a couple who we will bring you up to date on their recruiting, especially as it relates to where they stand with Army.

On the spring football front, we will have more on what is unfolding with the Black Knights. Update coming today on Rush DE Kenneth Brinson and his progression, along with the QB battle between Ahmad Bradshaw and Chris Carter. And I believe we posted this earlier this week, but converted LB now FB Andy Davidson has really stepped up and done so quickly, where he is currently running No. 1 at the B-Back position.
