The Inside Stuff Famous Games/Sporting Events in History You Attended

I recently saw a thread on another site about games you wish you were at but missed. It got me thinking about this topic and Let's go with any sport/level. I will jump-start it and off the top of my head ... Me and a friend were at the Giants-Cowboys game when Odell Beckman made the famous catch, which has become the norm now in football.

OT: Have The Games Changed?

Growing up I was a huge baseball fan, but I can’t honestly tell you the last time that I watched a baseball game on TV or been to an actual game.

When it comes to basketball, at both the college and NBA level, I am pretty much tuning them out as well and I haven’t watched a college ball in its entirety in years and can’t tell you who the best collegiate basketball player is this season.

Football! Hmmmmm? Well put it this way - this leads me to my actual question.

I believe football, baseball, and basketball have all changed from when I was a youngster. Some great changes, and some bad. But more so, the vibe of each game is different, and IMO, not for the better.

So I ask you, do you enjoy the games from those three sports now as much as you did in the past? If you don’t, what do you think has made you feel discounted from the sport or sports?
