Cadet Uniforms At Football Games

I am an "Old Grad" so keep that in mind.

I do not understand why Cadets do not wear our very attractive, distinctive, and traditional West Point Uniforms at football games. The Field uniforms are for field operations not garrison wear. The Naval and AFA wear their dress uniforms and look much sharper than our Cadets in drab field uniforms.

I am not saying the "Corps Has" but ------

Army Football BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: 2020 Army-Navy Game to be Played at West Point

Cadets were told today about changes to the academic year calendar:
  • No Thanksgiving leave
  • Long winter break starting Dec 13th (exams end on Fri the 11th)
  • No spring break
I’m reading between the lines and guessing the Army-Navy Game on the 12th will be at Michie Stadium.

Why?
  • Philadelphia Is unlikely to allow fans at Lincoln Financial Field. If so, why play the game there?
  • Navy-Marine Corps Stadium is not on the USNA post. Subject to state oversight regarding spectators.
  • Michie is on base allowing USMA to decide on spectator policy.
I could be totally wrong, it’s a hunch. Just in case I booked a room at the HI Express in Goshen for $95 for Friday night, Dec 11th.

Beat Navy!

Why The 12th Knight Premium Message Board?

QB Situation

I had a thought and I apologize in advance if someone has already brought this up. Considering we are at the bottom of our depth chart at QBs, does anyone know if the coaching staff has considered Tyrell Robinson at QB. Nothing against our current crop of QBs. I think they have performed well considering the situation. However, as we discussed in an earlier thread, none of them strike me as “electrifying.” Tyrell Robinson is electrifying and just has that combinations of grace, speed, quickness and power that I think would make him a great option QB. Not sure about his potential in the passing game, but that can be taught to an athlete of his caliber. Malcolm Perry couldn’t throw to save his life, but actually got pretty decent at it by his firstie (not sure what squids call seniors) year.
