If you know anything about Army football recruiting, it is a given that retention (even before the transfer portal was the norm) surrounding the Black Knights program is perhaps higher than most other major college football programs.

There are many factors that play into that and perhaps the most apparent comes in four words … It Is West Point! Meaning, that carrying the demand and load of being a Division I football player and a West Point Cadet is something that other players at other programs could not even fathom.

As such, some of the players that commit to Army West Point recognize that firsthand. Some opt to leave the academy as a whole, while others step away from playing but remain at the academy as cadets and future Army officers.

Well, we have this TBT surrounding the 2019 recruiting class. It has been a few years now since these young men said yes to attending West Point and playing for the Black Knights. Whereby several members of this group have not only remained at the academy but have added value to what is a stellar college football program, as noted by the CBS Sports Network's recent tweet.

There have been players like Andre Carter, who has received more preseason accolades than any Army player in recent memory. You have Captain Connor Bishop, Tyrell Robinson, Tyson Riley, Jordyn Law, Ay’ Jaun Marshall, Spencer Jones, Maurice Bellan along with up-and-coming players like D’Andre Tobias, Boris Nicolas-Paul, and Isaiah Fillisi.

What are your thoughts regarding this 2019 recruiting class?
