I could see Ohio State DC Greg Schiano being a fit for the Maryland HC vacancy, but I could also see Jay Bateman be a candidate for the vacant DC spot at Ohio State should Schiano leave.

Maryland athletics have been a mess for a long time. I wasn't surprised when they hired Anderson.

As for the player death, something like that can happen at a lot of places. Strength and conditioning coaches are always in the headlines. They are the weakest of links. This is the first time I've seen trainers be so negligent though.
