Isaiah Alston and "The Catch"

Alston's catch was incredible and this is nothing new to him.

So I have 2 questions regarding the catch.

1. Since Beckham made that one handed grab several years ago, it has become the norm. So do you think that players are practicing this more and more?

2. Do the gloves used by receivers today make this plays easier? I remember years and years ago, NFL players used stickum.
