I was getting tired of seeing the advertisement for maxexbball basketball camp as the lead post in the basketball forum.

While the early pre-season previews/predictions appear to favor American U. winning the Patriot League for 2014-15, CBSsports.com has at least one of their six commentators picking Army to come out on top.

Wouldn't it be special if the Army team could make it to March Madness this year and break out of he dwindling handful of teams that have never been to the NCAA tournament. It certainly has a greater likelihood of happening than the football team going to a bowl game in 2014. It will definitely be a challenge. There is a great deal of balance across the league this year. There won't be any opportunity for a breather in conference play. Even if Army doesn't win the P-league, they should be fun to watch. While there has been quite a buzz over the direction Jeff Monken promises to take the Army football program, Zach Spiker has presided over five years of steady progress at the helm of Army Men's Basketball.

Besides CBSsports.com, also check out CampusInsiders.com, who are also pointing to Army as a contender for the P-league crown.
