There is no doubt that last weekend’s (1/6) official visits turned out to be a huge success, with the number of verbal commitments, but also those who did not pledge to Army like DE Stone Edwards, ... they are still highly considering the Black Knights.
This upcoming weekend will bring in similar caliber of talent and it will be just as interesting to see how things unfold during and after the weekend concludes.

This upcoming weekend will bring in similar caliber of talent and it will be just as interesting to see how things unfold during and after the weekend concludes.
Some of the Notables:
- D.J. Baxter, (Army commit) CB - Another 2-star prospect. Baxter will have the luxury of taking this visit knowing that he is already committed to the Black Knights.
- Cedrick Cunningham (Army commit), Safety - like Baxter, Cunningham can enjoy the visit just a little bit more knowing that he is locked in as a member of the 2017 recruiting class.
- Thyrick Pitts, WR - He surely fits the brand of what head coach Jeff Monken wants in his wide receivers from a physical and athletic stand point. Pitts was previously committed to Richmond, but has re-opened his recruiting.
- Arik Smith, LB/DE - This guy is a stud and reminds me of Andrew King. He is a hot target for the Black Knights and he appears to be highly interested in the program.
- Caden Williams, OL - This Rivals 2-star prospect would be a nice add on to the 2017 and he has a strong interest in Army. I would not be surprised if he committed on his visit or very soon after.
- Isaiah Watson, OLB - We just posted an article (Click Here) on the New Jersey prospect and like Williams, we wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t commit during or soon after his visit.
- R.J. Reynolds, DE - Reynolds has offers from all three of the academies, and presently Air Force has a slight lead over Army and Navy for the defensive end's talents.
