Here are what a few of the scheduled attendees had to say to members of GoBlackKnights.com team regarding their expectations for their Friday visit
Nick Mell, FB (Army commit)
"I’m very excited to see all the coaches again. I’m especially excited to meet other commits that I’ve talked to over twitter these past few months. Overall I’ve been waiting all summer to get back up there."
Trey Stephens, OLB
"Correct, this will be my first trip to West Point. I really look forward to meeting all the coaches. They have continuously sent me hand written letters and messaged me, so I hope to make some relationships while I’m there."
Christopher Reames, DE
"It will be my first time one campus and I am looking forward to learning more about how the structure of the school, being able to meet the coaches and some players, and the culture of the school."
Keiran Grant, RB
"This will be my first unofficial visit to West Point. I’m looking forward to being in a great atmosphere, for great people and also for an amazing tour of the campus ... I’ve heard a lot about it, but I want to see it for myself."
Davis Wofford, OLB
"Yes, this will be my first trip to West Point, and I am pump that I finally get a chance to see the campus and meet the rest of the coaching staff. Army has recruited me well, and the coaches and I have built a great relationship. The best part of the trip is when I finally get to see and witness where some of the greatest Americans once stood. That will be a humbling moment. I'm excited."
Garrett Dunn-Ford, DE
"I’m just looking forward to seeing the beautiful campus and facilities I’ve been hearing about and I did my research on West Point and I’m really hoping to see the IOCT course."
Karsonne Winters, Safety
"Yes it is my first time. I’m really amped up to get a feel for the environment surrounding West Point. I hope to meet some of the players and students to hear more on the life of a student. Mostly, I would like to connect with the coaches and hopefully form a relationship now that we will finally get to talk face to face."
"I’m also excited to see the recruits since they may be my future teammates."
Tristan Wheeler, LB
"This will actually be my 3rd time up on campus. This time, I am mainly looking forward to seeing the weight room and talking face to face with the players there. The last two times the weight room was not done, and I couldn’t talk to the players."
Reed Chandler, DE
"I am really looking forward to meeting with Coach Wilt and some of the other defensive coaches as well as getting to know other recruits and of course getting to see campus and the football facilities again."

Kaghen Roach, DE
"Mr. Grevious, good to meet you and thank you for the great coverage. Unfortunately my family and I won’t be able to make the trip this weekend. I’ve spoken with the coaches and let them know that we have a relative who is terminally ill and her days are numbered that we are focusing on right now. I hope to get back up there during the football season. Thanks again and have a great day."
Chance Cover, LB
"I was invited, but my schedule interfered with me attending."
Jaylen DeCoteau, WR
The WR out of New Jersey just committed to Kent State today and won’t be attending Friday’s event.
