Personally I don't think it's a good ideal.... Your opening the door, for law suits.... It's going to become a serious problem, with parents who are going to have a problem with his or her son, overnight outings with them... We talking about boys here....

When I wrote the above post, I had not read the article.... But as for the young people being in the boyscouts I think its ok..... But Im not to sure about them being so open with it, because children tease & bully at that age.... So lets see how this plays out.... Its like you saying let them be openly gay in football next, or any other boys sports or recreation.... Boy this will something to watch, I hope & pray everything works out positive.....

There was a good book out last year called "Gray Lady Down". It was about the NY Times and its demise since it started following an agenda instead of sticking to more objective reporting. The book's author criticized them for failing to report the Catholic Church's problem was not pedophiles - who molest pre-pubescent children - but homosexuals. Over 85% of the victims where teenage boys. They were being taken advantage if by homosexual priests. One could even say pederasts but not pedophiles. Sandusky was similar at Penn St.. After what we've seen in the Church (and the public schools are worse) and at PSU is shows how bizarre things are that the Boy Scouts have to defend themselves for wanting to protect themslves - and get bullied for following their own religious belifes that the Supreme Court already validated as constitutionally protected and lawful. America is just becoming a degenerate place. I was reading about Jimmy Stewert yesterday. He was a brigadier general and a big supporter of scouting. To people today he would be a homophobe (and technically if that really existed it would be an involuntary disorder like other phobias are described as). The same people want to turn the military upside down. They hide behind civil rights jargon by design. However nothing good ever follows their advancements and they just move to the next target.
Honestly Ashokan I dont really believe this will ever get the national full coverage of acceptance ... One because people religious, preference plays a huge part in it... If you really think about it in our country, the freedom of religion is strong here by people abroad. Which is why when we set up laws, it sometimes become conflicting to what we believe, to satisfy the people... Is it wrong?????? If we go back in time, when our laws where made from our forefathers. The Bible was a huge influence with law making, Christianity was the strongest belief back then... So I dont think we will ever lose that sense of responsibility to uphold what we know to be right... That has been our strength from century to century, yes it will continue to be a fight, for those who live that lifestyle... In some countries your killed for being that way, is that right no! Even in our country its a lot of homophobia, that's still very well known... Where your starting to hear more and more stories of our youth being beat to death because of it... That's not science thats rubbish. Suicide among all teens id actually WAY down since the 80s and 90s. Right now 1 gay teen jumping off a bridge becomes national news. The gay groups intentionally set out to mimic the civil rights movement.They say they are just like black people which is pretty insulting imo. What kind of civil rights forced scout groups to take homosexual scoutmasters? This is insanity.
Did you see the West Point Rugby team got disbanded? That stems from the same kooks using another fake abuse "epidemic" . People really need to stop falling for these fabricated "epidemics".

I agree with what you said, its not fear its disgust... which is why it will never fully accepted by the people.... Nor do I think its in the same category as the blacks civil rights. Reason being your making a decision to be gay, but you cant make a decision to be black... But is it in the same category as freedom of religion or belief??? Meanly (belief)?

Well I don't quite think people quite make a decision to be gay. I've seen dozens of peer reviewed studies that show gays have been abused at very high rates - 35% is about average. Its 7-14% for other people. There are also family issues that affect kids development. There is something called imprinting. If you take a baby monkey away from its mother early and put it in with ducks it will think its a duck and act that way. One famous zoologist has had geese imprint on him - they think he is their mother and they follow him around.
But even though I dont think its always a choice there are behaviors I can't excuse.Some acts are just so unhygienic and degrading that they are dangerous health wise. I like women but couldn't do to them what the guys do to each other. Realize they are banned for life by FDA from donating blood because over 10 thousand hemophiliacs died from AIDS tainted blood. These guys are 44x more likely to get AIDS; and are 64% of new syphilis cases. They represent the two versions of hepatitis by 10% and 20%. They are having an epidemic of MRSA greater than others people. Now they are getting encephalitis in LA and NY. They have huge rate of HPV infection. There is no population more disease prone.
That's why the actual behaviors aren't talked about much. The pro groups stick to the surfacey things. The recent upsurge in acceptance mostly comes from young teen girls growing up who see emasculated boys as "cute". Its all about Glee and fuzzy sayings like "Love Know No Gender". I spend a lot of time with young people and I've seen the confusion intentionally sown and the play on heartstrings - all with strenuously avoiding the realities.
To me its crazy that if someone is injured on the street and bleeding, all the cops and EMTs will wear gloves and protective gear to shielded from AIDS and other diseases. Yet its ok to sanction these behaviors and people in military. and maybe bleed all over the place. Now all the laws are being flipped to protect a dangerous behavior - and the people opposed to it are the disordered ones. This "up is down" dysfunctionality is no accident and has nothing to do with fairness at all. In fact unfairness is the goal - making bureaucracies and institutions get tangled up in knots is the goal of the people who introduced this stuff. Cant beat US military head to head? Turn it into a circus from within. That's the story right there.
As for freedom of religion or belief I suppose someone could say Incest between consenting adults should be ok. They have the freedom to think that and say it - but that doesn't mean 99.98% of society has to turn upside down to accommodate them. We are making really sketchy things out to be ultimate expressions of "freedom" when they are just weird and disordered. Saying that would the new disorder - incestphobia etc etc. Truth is we are in a Naked Emperor situation. Pressure has been brought to make people agree to something that's wrong. Little kids cover their eyes in modesty when they see men and women kiss. They absolutely know two guys kissing each other is weird. They dont need to be told that. Yet kooks in education are now telling kids they have to see that a normal and its brainwashing pure and simple.

Well this where me and you divide at, my beliefs are what ever your born as thats what you are M/F.... However some believe your born with a gene or something.... I dont believe that, but im not God nor am I a doctor.. However at the end of the day being a educator, when one of my students come to me crying their eyes out, about another student teasing them. Talking about their parent who is gay.... I will continue to encourage them and remind them how much they love their parents, no matter who their parents love they still love them very much... Just like I believe racism starts at home.... Children do what they see & what their being taught from their families... Just like a child ask me, if their going to be gay cause their parents are... We are setting up our future generation of children, they learn from us and how we live.... AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE.....
I don't support bullying of any kid - including against kids with gender/sexual issues. As for gay parents I think its awful to put kids in that position. Letting two homosexual males adopt kids so they can play house is a crime in my opinion. Even the Russians and and Putin do better than us on that. Homosexual adoption is just asking for troubles. Talk about screwing a kids head around.
There are specific rules on this site that are more football sensitive and you should know that already. This current events board is more tolerable, as it should be. Get over it KniteFan and get ready for Army football 2014.
