In the final college football rankings for the season, the AP Poll Top 25 has Alabama at No. 1. The Crimson Tide beat Georgia, 26-23, in overtime to win the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

UCF was the only team to finish unbeaten. The Knights finished No. 6 and received six first-place votes.

I am not surprised. We had a great season with 10 wins, wins over Navy and AF, and a bowl win. However, we were not a top 25 program. We did not beat any top 25 team and lost to two unranked teams. Maybe next year.
