Happy to see a post about basketball! (I love football, but basketball has always been my first love.) Thank you for the post. It’ll be exciting to see a young team stepping onto the ARMY basketball court.
I admit I’m a bit partial to the USMAPS players. They’re dedicated and focused about not just basketball, but serving our country as well. I'm sure that goes for all the players. I loved watching them play last year and look forward to seeing them perform again this season. I’m confident, they’ll get pass the “inexperience” and their communication, dedication and hard work will eventually pay off. I consider these men.....”my son’s.” I’m confident in Coach Spiker and believe he’s more than qualified to pull this team together. Be it this year or next, it will happen. I believe ARMY Basketball is in for a very exciting ride. I can’t wait until their opening game.
By the way, I could have sworn Alex Godette was taller than 5-11..... guess he just “played bigger”!
