Although the Army Black Knights enter Saturday contest versus the Duke Blue Devils ranked #10 in the entire nation in Total Defense, with an impressive 264.8 yards per game ... they will be up against a young-talented quarterback in Daniel Jones.

I just arrived in NC today and the weather is fine. But there is a huge hurricane down by Haiti and Cuba heading north. Based on the current forecast there is a significant chance that the hurricane will affect the weather during the Army-Duke game on Saturday.

Right now there is a 10 - 20 percent chance that there will be tropical storm force winds in the Research Triangle area on Saturday afternoon. And probably strong rain.

Given that we are the #1 rushing team in the nation with a top 10 or so run defense the weather looks to be an advantage for Army. Duke runs a spread offense and that will be challenging for them to move the ball if the weather forecast holds up.

It is still early but this is something to consider as the game approaches.

Earlier line has AF by a TD. I actually think Navy will win this one in a close game.

While everybody is still recovering from the loss last night, I think we should be as concerned about injuries as anything else. Howard, Asberry, Poe... and a few others. That could loom large and I'm looking forward to hearing any sort of update that comes our way.
