OT: Hug Lady

“In 2003, when soldiers were coming and going to the Middle East she wanted to show her appreciation for what they were doing and while volunteering with the Salvation Army; she began shaking hands which led to giving each one a hug,” Laird’s obituary read. “Elizabeth received orders from CSM Gainey to hug every one of his troops when leaving and returning from overseas and that started her final career as the ‘Hug Lady.’”

God rest her soul.

Drew Thatcher Hot Seat

I had high hopes Army fans. We all did. But after almost 6 games, it’s time that we started discussing the Army OC. How much longer can this guy last at Army with the offense crumbling away before our eyes?

I’m pretty sure that Drinkall and Viti have already absorbed whatever goodness Thatcher has brought to the Army playbook. I think Thatcher’s expendable and becoming a liability to this Army team. His days are numbered.

If I were Monken I’d start looking for the next OC now. Maybe he is already on our sideline or up in the booth.

TBT: 3-Star DT Matt Gemma becomes Army's 1st 2023 commit

As you know, we typically hold off on reporting on players currently at the USMAPS. However, Charles has loosened the reigns somewhat and there's probably no better place to start than with DT Matt Gemma.

Charles will update the message board on the boundaries surrounding such notifications and updates of prep players, so stay tuned.
